Suspect On The Loose From Credit Union Robbery
JEFFERSON CITY - The Jefferson City Police Department responded at 4:00 p.m. Monday to a 9-1-1 call of a holdup at the Missouri Credit Union located at 3124 West Edgewood. Missouri Credit Union employees said the suspect came into the business, yelled for everyone to get down, and then demanded money from the tellers. After getting an undisclosed amount of money the suspect left through the front door and got into a silver Dodge Stratus or similar type of vehicle.
Police said the suspect is described as 5' 5'', wearing a black ski mask, black pants, black gloves, and a red hooded sweatshirt. The gender of the suspect is unknown due to the ski mask. Police said the suspect didn't display a weapon and it is not known if anyone else was involved.Missouri State Highway Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigations personnel responded to the scene. The FBI, in conjunction with Jefferson City Police detectives, are searching for a suspect.
