SUV Flips into Creek, Killing Northern Mo. Driver

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - A woman is dead after her sport utility vehicle flipped into a northern Missouri creek and became submerged.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol identified the victim as 67-year-old Patricia L. Borrok of Novinger.

She was killed Sunday morning when her SUV began sliding on Route K in Adair County. The vehicle went off the side of the road and overturned into the creek.

The Adair County coroner pronounced her dead at the scene a couple hours later.
