Taylor Finishes Ninth at NAIA Midwest Invitational

SILVIS, IL -- Julian Taylor shot a 76 in the final round of the NAIA Midwest Invitational, staying steady in ninth place with an overall score of 150 (74-76; +8). He finished the tournament 12 shots behind winner Trey Pfund of Marian College. Chris Martin moved up 14 spots on the leaderboard to finish 40th, carding a 76 to close out the tournament with a 158 (82-76; +16).

The remaining three Owls competing in the tournament finished in a four-way tie for 51st. Cruz Buchanan climbed from 62nd to finish with a total of 162 (83-79; +20). Chris Reinert carded an 86 in the final round, while Shane Kressig matched his opening round card with an 81.

The tournament was the final event on the fall schedule for William Woods.
