The State Historical Society Welcomes Journalist Rudi Keller
COLUMBIA- The State Historical Society of Missouri presented journalist and historian Rudi Keller Thursday evening for his program "Life During Wartime, the Civil War in Central Missouri."
Keller gave his lecture surrounded by the the gallery's newest exhibit, "A State Divided: Missouri and the Civil War." He discussed how he originally became interested in the Civil War and what Boone County was like 150 years ago.
The MU Journalism School graduate has had 25 years of experience covering state government and politics. His column in the Columbia Daily Tribune was the basis for his lecture on the people and communities of Central Missouri during the Civil War.
