Three arrested after camper, RV and truck are stolen
COLUMBIA - Three suspects were in custody Thursday afternoon on suspicion of stealing, following a joint investigation by the Boone and Montgomery county sheriff's departments.
On Monday, deputies responded to a theft at Pertech LLC on 51 N. Rangeline Road, where a camper was reported stolen, the Boone County Sheriff's Department said in a news release. On Wednesday, an RV was reported stolen from Commercial Truck Body and Paint, 7400 Drive I-70 Drive Southeast.
On Wednesday, Montgomery County deputies located the camper and RV. Andrea L. Martin, 41, and her daughter, Tracey L. Martin, 18, were being held in the Montgomery County Jail on suspicion of felony stealing, the Boone County Sheriff's Department said.
A subsequent investigation led deputies to a home on the 6400 block of Mary Ann Circle, where Darren E. Crites, 51, was arrested on suspicion of three counts of felony stealing. At the address, deputies located a truck reported stolen from the city of Columbia in December 2016, the department said in a news release.
Crites was being held at the Boone County Detention Center. He was awaiting bond to be set, according to the sheriff's department. Crites also had a $500 bond on a charge of driving under suspension.
Sarah J. Grover, 34, was also arrested on outstanding warrants for probation and parole violations, the sheriff's department said.
