Three charged with felony possession in Moniteau County
MONITEAU COUNTY - Five people were detained and three were taken into custody Wednesday night on drug-related charges.
Deputies with the Moniteau County Sheriff’s office working in conjunction with the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force searched a Latham home using a warrant.
During the search, deputies located methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and items used for the packaging and distribution of methamphetamine.
Three suspects were then taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Moniteau County Jail for formal charging.
Jeffrey Pearson, Edward Lepper and June Rapier-Wilson were charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Pearson was also charged with intent to distribute and is being held on a $45,000 bond. Lepper's bond is set at $25,000.
June Rapier-Wilson is additionally charged for child endangerment. Her bond is $35,000.
