Three Injured After Truck Strikes Tree in Miller County

MILLER COUNTY - Three people are injured after a truck struck a tree Saturday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a truck was traveling at a high rate of speed and ran a stop sign around 10:20 p.m. on Humphrey Creek Rd. near Route A Saturday night. The vehicle then went airborne, landed and went off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

The male driver, Sabian Salais, 19, was uninjured and wearing a seatbelt.

Three passengers were injured in the accident. Paige Pemberton, 16, and Perry Pemberton, 18, were transported to Capital Region Hospital with minor injuries. Lauren Keeran, 18 was transported by ambulance to Capital Region Hospital with serious injuries. Keeran was not wearing a seatbelt.
