Tigers Advance in Thanksgiving Tournament

CORAL GABLES, FL - The Mizzou Women's Basketball Team remained undefeated Friday defeating the Hartford Hawks 68-45 in the first game of the University of Miami Thanksgiving Tournament. 

Senior Bri Kulas led the team in scoring with 24 points, 17 of which came in the first half.

Freshman Jordan Frericks scored a career-high 13 points and also added 8 rebounds.

The Tigers went on a 15-0 run in the second half, not allowing a field goal for nearly ten minutes. 

Mizzou also outrebounded the Hawks 49-30. 

The Tigers will play Miami tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the tournament championship game.
