Tigers Continue Play at Big 12 Championship

TRINITY, TX - The Mizzou men's golf currently sits in eighth place at the 2012 Big 12 Men's Golf Championship.

Through three rounds of play the Tigers scored 312-301-300-913. Texas A&M is currently in the lead with a score of 4-over-par. Texas (+13) and Texas Tech (+14) round out the top three teams. The Tigers currently sit above Kansas State (+54) and Kansas (+67).

Nick Wilson leads the Tigers, as he is currently tied for 14th place in the tournament. Wilson went 75-73-76-224 through three rounds. He recorded three birdies in the third round to finish 4-over-par on the day. Jace Long finished the day 3-over-par and he recorded two birdies on the back nine for a third round tally of 10-over-par.

In a tie for 30th place, freshman Ryan Zech shot 2-under-par on the day and tallied six birdies in the third round alone. Zech is currently 12-over-par through the third round.

Emilio Cuartero went 82-74-79-235 through the first three rounds, and Adam Rosenthal shot 84-82-83-249 at the tournament.

The fourth round of the Big 12 Championships will begin tomorrow at 8 a.m.
