COLUMBIA, SC - Mizzou traveled to Columbia, South Carolina to take on the Gamecocks on Thursday night. The Tigers finished off the Gamecocks with a 90-68 finish.
In the first half, Mizzou and South Carolina were tied 17-17 with 11:55 left to play. After a time-out by South Carolina, Mizzou pulls ahead with a three point shot from Jabari Brown to make it 20-17. Keion Bell leads the Tigers with 18 points to a 45-38 lead at the end of the first half.
A dunk from Alex Oriakhi put the tigers ahead 56-42 at the beginning of the second half. In the middle of the half Brown, Oriakhi and Bell had a combined 21 out of 25 points from the floor. Stepan Jankovic hit a three with 23 seconds to go to make it 90-68.
The tigers finished off South Carolina 90-68 with their fifth consecutive 20-win season. Brown beat his career high with 23 points.
Mizzou will host LSU Tigers on Saturday, March 2nd at Mizzou Arena.
