EUGENE, OR - The Tigers finish the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene with two All-American finishes from Kearsten Peoples and Katrine Haarklau.
Peoples claims her third All-American honor for her career. On the final day of the NCAA Outdoor Championships she finished 6th in the shot put with a top throw of 17.04 meters. Peoples earned previous All-American honors at last year's meet in the shot put and discus.
Fellow Tiger Dan Quigely finished his career for the Tigers today in the 5000m run. He finished the race with a time of 14:08.25. That was good enough for 14th place. The Senior finishes his career with school records both indoor and outdoor in the 5000m run.
Peoples and other MIzzou track and field athletes will next go to Des Moines, IA, for the USATF Championships on June 20th-23rd. This will be the final meet of the 2013 season.
