Tigers Husked by Nebraska
The Cornhuskers put the first points on the board with a 40-yard field goal, 3-0.
On their next drive, Nebraska's Maurice Purify threw to Terrence Nunn for 28 yards and a touchdown, pushing their lead to 10-0.
As the first quarter was coming to an end, Missouri's Chase Daniel threw an interception. Six plays and 22 yards later, Nebraska scored another touchdown, Nebraska on top, 17-0.
On the next drive, Missouri put their first points on the board after a 26-yard field goal, Nebraska still leading 17-3.
Daniel threw another interception that was returned for 40 yards and led into Nebraska's next touchdown, 24-3.
The Cornhuskers weren't done there, though, they scored again with a 33-yard field goal. Just before halftime, Missouri's Jeff Wolfert kicked a 54-yard field goal, making it 27-6, Nebraska.
Missouri's first possession of the second half consisted of 10 plays for 62 yards and a touchdown, closing the score to 27-13.
Early in the fourth quarter, Nebraska scored their last touchdown of the game, Nebraska leading 34-13.
After 18 plays for 80 yards, Missouri answered right back, scoring their final touchdown, Nebraska beat Missouri 34-20.
There was a total of five turnovers between the two teams. The Tigers passed for 242 yards and ran for 117 yards while the Cornhuskers passed for 236 yards and ran for 186 yards.
