Tigers Resist Ole Miss' Rebellious Ways

The Tigers pounced on the Rebels early, scoring the first touchdown after one possession and ten plays for 80 yards. Quarterback Chase Daniel went 6-for-6 for 50 yards and ran an additional 30 yards in four carries in this opening drive.

Minutes before the end of the first half, Ole Miss scored their only points of the game, making it 17-7.

Missouri continued to dominate the field scoring two more touchdowns and another field goal in the second half.

Overall Daniel threw 24-for-40 for 243 yards and had 13 carries totaling 89 yards. Tony Temple carried 14 times for 70 yards and Brad Ekwerekwu had eight receptions for 95 yards.

Mizzou's on the move for their first road game of the season against New Mexico next Saturday at 7 p.m.
