Tigers Sweep Red Raiders in Texas
LUBBOCK, Texas - The Missouri Tiger softball team hit four home runs and scored ten times on fourteen hits to sweep Texas Tech 10-1 in six innings on Sunday. The Tigers improved to 26-3 on the season and are now 4-0 in Big 12 play after winning their 23rd straight game.
Pitcher Chelsea Thomas had a no hitter going into the sixth inning but gave up her first hit of the day with one out. Thomas struck out ten batters and walked zero, improving to 12-2 on the season.
Princess Krebs finished the day 2-2: two homers and four RBIs. Catherine Lee also drove in four getting two hits, one homer, and scoring once herself. Ashley Fleming finished 3-4 with a single, double and homer, three runs and two driven in. Maddison Ruggeberg and Jenna Marston also added two hits each.
