Today's Talk: Misleading food labels could lead to more calories
COLUMBIA - A new report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture shows that calorie counts on food labels for protein, nuts and other high fiber foods could be overestimated by as much as 25 percent.
KOMU 8 News is talking to a nutritionist at a Columbia GNC, and a personal trainer at Wilson's with a background in nutritional science to see if people in mid-Missouri are impacted.
