Two arrested in relation to multi-county burglary investigation

Deputies arrested Tyler Schieders on suspicion of second degree burglary and felony stealing on Monday. An image of Caden Wilkerson, who was also arrested, was not available to KOMU 8 News at the time of publication.

CALLAWAY COUNTY - Deputies arrested two people in relation to to a multi-county burglary investigation on Monday and Tuesday. 

According to the Callaway County Sheriff's Department, deputies arrested Tyler Schnieders, 21, of Jefferson City for suspected second degree burglary and felony stealing on Monday. Deputies arrested Schnieders in Jefferson City and took him to the Callaway County Jail. He was released on bond pending a court appearance. 

On Tuesday, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged 23-year-old Caden Wilkerson with second degree burglary and felony stealing. He was being held in the Cole County Jail in relation to charges in Cole County.

Schnieders and Wilkerson's arrests were related to offenses that happened in the Holts Summit and Tebbetts area.

Law enforcement is still investigating related burglaries and thefts in Cole, Moniteau, Miller, Cooper and Callaway counties. More arrests could come, investigators said.
