OSAGE COUNTY - Deputies arrested two Columbia residents Tuesday on drug charges.

Sheriff Michael Dixon said deputies from the Osage County Sheriff's Office arrested 25-year-old Eric Shreve and 21-year-old Laci Shreve, after deputies responded to a suspicious persons call around Highway 50 West and Osage County Road 604 near Linn, Missouri at 1 a.m. Tuesday.

Dixon said deputies found suspected meth and meth paraphernalia and suspected marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.

Osage County Prosecutor Amanda Grellner filed charges against both suspects for possession of and unlawful use of meth and marijuana.

Both suspects have a $15,000 bond and are being held at Osage County Jail.

Dixon said Eric Shreve is also on probation for distributing narcotics out of Johnson County, Kansas.
