Two in jail after attempt at hiding drug paraphernalia
OSAGE COUNTY - Two people are in custody after warrants were issued for possession of suspected methamphetamine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies arrested Daniel Duke and Janet Duke of Freeburg after an investigation regarding a stolen vehicle at an address near Chestnut Street last Thursday.
Upon making contact with both individuals, Janet Duke attempted to hide suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in front of deputies. Deputies then arrested 50-year-old Daniel Duke and 39-year-old Janet Duke.
Four children were in the home at the time of the arrests.
Both suspects are still in custody at the Osage County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
