Two Killed In Washington County Crash
BONNE TERRE (AP) - The Missouri Highway Patrol says a 21-year-old Cadet man caused a weekend crash that killed him and another person. Twenty-one-year-old Nicholas Elsey was driving north Saturday night on Missouri 47 in Washington County. The patrol says he lost control of the car, which crossed the centerline and spun and hit a southbound vehicle. Elsey was thrown from his car and pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim killed, 69-year-old Wyiona Boyer of Bonne Terre, was a passenger in the vehicle that Elsey's car struck. She was pronounced dead at an area hospital. The driver of the car that Boyer was in survived the crash. The patrol says the man, 43-year-old Erick Rousan of Bonne Terre, was hospitalized in St. Louis.
