Two Mexico residents arrested for growing marijuana
MEXICO - The Central Drug Task Force said Thursday it arrested two 18-year-old men after shutting down their indoor marijuana-growing operation.
The task force served a search warrant Wednesday night on the 1600 block on Meadow Lane with the help of the Mexico Public Safety Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Audrain County Sheriff's Office. Officers said they seized marijuana and supplies used to growing manufacture and cultivate marijuana inside the home.
Mexico resident Porter Goodman faces potential drug charges including maintaining a public nuisance. Mexico resident Jacob Landreth faced drug-related charges for possession of marijuana.
