Two people arrested in Moberly on drug charges
MOBERLY - Two people are being held on a $45,000 bond in Randolph County after police discovered meth and heroin during a routine check at a home.
Moberly Police responded to Windsor Street around 10 a.m. after Missouri Department of Probation and Parole requested officer's check-up on a person supervised by their office.
When officers arrived, they found two more people inside the home and discovered the illegal substances.
Authorities arrested 24-year-old Janette Lynn Murphy of Topeka, Kansas and 23-year-old Aaron Levi George of Columbia for Possession of a controlled substance and keeping and maintaining a public nuisance.
Both were taken to the Randolph County Justice Center.
Associate Circuit Court Judge Cynthia Suter set bond at $45,000.
