Two Women Charged After Bringing Pot to Moberly Correctional
MOBERLY - Two women face felony charges after attempting to bring marijuana into the Moberly Correctional Facility.
Randolph County Prosecutor Mike Fusselman charged 29-year-old Christi H. Bass and 22-year-old Jaimie M. Parramore with attempted distribution of over five grams of marijuana and attempted delivery of a controlled substance at a correctional facility Sunday morning.
Moberly Police Sergeant Mark Arnsperger said the North Missouri Drug Task Force and the Moberly Police Department responded to the facility Saturday for a narcotics investigation. There, he said they found the two women with marijuana attempting to visit an inmate.
Arnsperger said two juveniles were taken into protective custody follow the arrests.
