UPDATE: Amber Alert Called Off In Case of Missing 10-Month-Old
KANSAS CITY - Kansas City police have lifted the amber alert in the case of missing 10-month-old Lisa Irwin.
Police say the parents of a 10-month-old girl who disappeared from her crib have been cooperative and are not considered suspects.
Capt. Steve Young said Wednesday that investigators have found little to go on in their search for Irwin.
Young says police have invited the parents to talk to the media but they have yet to take up that offer. He says investigators interviewed the parents late into the night Tuesday.
Lisa was last seen around 10:30 p.m. Monday when her mother put her to bed. Police say her father discovered she was missing around 3:30 a.m. when he returned home from work.
Young says searchers will continue combing a wooded area nearby and knocking on the doors of neighbors who didn't answer Tuesday.
Irwin is still considered a missing/endangered juvenile.
