UPDATE: Columbia police cancel Endangered Person Advisory after man found safe
COLUMBIA – The Columbia Police Department has canceled an Endangered Person Advisory for a developmentally disabled man after he was found safe Monday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol sent out the original alert early Monday morning. The alert said 55-year-old Russell Farrel went missing from a group home at 2309 Highland Drive in Columbia Sunday evening.
Highway Patrol said the man went to bed at 8:25 p.m. Sunday and was found missing at 8:45 p.m.
The new alert was released just after 7 a.m. Monday and said Farrel had been found safe.
