FULTON - Fulton police arrested 36-year-old resident Gwendolyn Bruce Tuesday night. Police responded to reports of a disturbance at Bruce's home on Pioneer Drive around 7:30 p.m.
After investigation, officers said Bruce was threatening to kill her children with a steak knife.
Fulton police are still investigating the situation.
"The investigation has been turned over to the detective unit for further investigation for possible further charges," said city of Fulton Detective Jason Barnes.
Bruce is at the Callaway County jail with a $25,000 bond and being charged with unlawful use of a weapon and 2nd degree assault.
