COLUMBIA — Missouri wide receiver Keyon Dilosa has been dismissed from the team following his recent arrest, team officials announced Thursday.

Dilosa was arrested Wednesday morning on suspicion of domestic assault. According to the Columbia Police Department, someone reported seeing Dilosa and his girlfriend in an argument downtown shortly before 1 a.m. During the argument, the witness said Dilosa punched his girlfriend in the face.

Other people in the area then restrained Dilosa until police arrived. Dilosa was taken to the Boone County Jail, where he was released on $1,000 bond.

Dilosa caught two passes for seven yards during the 2016 season.
