UPDATE: Suspect Aprehended for Robberies
COLUMBIA - On June 2 at 2:57 p.m., the FBI and Columbia Police Department took Louis Michael Patti into custody for his involvement in both the robbery of Flow's Pharmacy and Boone County National Bank.
According to a media release by the Columbia Police Department, Patti was taken into custody during a traffic stop at the intersection of Keene Street and Broadway Boulevard. Patti admitted to his involvement in both Columbia robberies and also his involvement in a bank robbery in the Kansas City area.
Authorities served a search warrant of Patti's residence and found evidence linking him to all three robberies. He is being charged with three counts of first degree robbery and three counts of armed criminal action.
The suspect is innocent until proven guilty.
