UPS Makes a Donation to Honor Flight
COLUMBIA - They're typically shipping your packages, but Monday they honored World War II veterans. The Columbia UPS center donated $1800 to Honor Flight in memory of one of its own employees.
Richard Whitaker died in a motorcycle accident on Aug. 13. He was to accompany the Honor Flight from Kingdom City to Columbia on his motorcycle Tuesday night. His co-workers and family decided the donation would be a fitting tribute.
