SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) - First-term U.S. Rep. Billy Long of Springfield has turned back two challengers to win another two-year stint in Missouri's 7th District.
Unofficial results Tuesday night show the Republican incumbent topping Democrat Jim Evans of Republic and Libertarian Kevin Craig of Powersite. Long is a former auctioneer and radio host who won election in November 2010 to a seat vacated when Roy Blunt was elected to the U.S. Senate.
