The Republican-led state House is scheduled to start its floor session a little early Wednesday to allow for Blunt to speak. The Republican senator also spoke to the Missouri House this past May and said then that there should be a particular focus on boosting private sector jobs
Missouri U.S. Sen. Kit Bond also spoke to state lawmakers frequently before he retired from Congress. Bond served two terms as governor before winning election to the U.S. Senate.
