Cockatoo with identity issues loves barking like a dog

Think you need a large, imposing dog to effectively scare away would-be intruders? Think again. A cockatoo can do the job just fine. Maxing out at about two pounds, the tiny tropical bird in this video can muster up a bark to rival that of a canine many times its size, and guessing from the looks on the faces of the two dogs also sharing its living space, it has complete rule of the house. Just something to consider the next time you find yourself shopping around for a home-security system ... especially one that won't chew on the furniture.

Who needs a security system when you've got a trusty watchdog. And whoever said your watchdog actually has to be a dog... This barking bird makes for a great watchdog.
