Weather Concerns Hault Lincoln University Travel to Arkansas

JEFFERSON CITY - Forecasted inclement weather has stopped Lincoln University softball from traveling to Arkansas for the Henderson State/Ouachita Baptist Invitational.

Head coach Nicole Stacey made the decision to remove the team from six scheduled games this weekend. The games were to occur on both Henderson State University and Ouachita Baptist University campuses. Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations Dan Carr said it is likely that no make-up games will be scheduled.

The Lincoln University season now opens next Friday, February 7 in Goodwell, Okla. The team will play Southern Nazarene Universitry at 10:00 a.m. CT February 7 and 8, and will play Oklahoma Panhandle State University at 2:00 p.m. CT February 7 and 12:00 p.m. CT February 8.
