Westminster Loses Two Against No. 18 Webster

FULTON, MO -- The Westminster Blue Jays (7-8, 4-5) lost two games to 18th ranked Webster University (15-5, 8-0) Tuesday afternoon at Saucier Field.

In game one, the Blue Jays fell 11-1 to Webster. The Blue Jays sole run came in the fifth inning on a RBI fielder's choice by Andy Pichler scoring Danton Hughes. Justin Whitaker had two of the Blue Jays' four hits. Nolan Lark received the loss, pitching five innings and giving up five earned runs.

The Blue Jays lost game two 3-0 to Webster.

Tommy Bohnert was the losing pitcher. He pitched seven innings and gave up only one earned run.

Tyler Branneky led the Blue Jays' offense with two hits.

Westminster resumes action at Saucier Field Saturday against MacMurray College at 3:00 and 6:00 pm.
