FULTON - The Westminster College football tem beat MacMurray Colege on Saturday in a Upper Midwest Athletic Conference game, while holding their Homecoming and Family Weekend festivities.

Zain Gower led the way for the Blue Jays (6-2, 5-2 UMAC) with 202 yards and two touchdowns including 91 yards and a the first drive over a span of three straight plays.

Carl Givens hauled in five receptions for 69 yards and a pair of touchdowns, one from each junior quarterback Kut Gould and sophomore quarterback Scott Rodgers.

The offense totaled 413 yards as they kept Highlanders (0-7, 0-6 UMAC) winless on the season.

Defensively, junior Rodney Lyle finished with eight tackles, two sacks, and three tackles for a loss.

With the victory, Westminster evened the all-time series with MacMurray at 5-5 including the last four.
