Westran returns 13 starters, but is inexperienced at some key positions. Sophomore quarterback Zane Jacoby is expected to start and Coach Jasper is hoping to minimize his learning curve.

Jacoby is excited to work with senior wide receivers Devin Perkins and Clay Ames, who are expected to lead on and off the field. The Hornets will run the ball often with Zach Morgan, who is fast and could be a threat in the passing game. The offensive line is the offense's strength.

The defense has the potential to be a good unit. The secondary is experienced and athletic. It allowed just 58 yards passing per game.

Coach: Curtis Jasper (entering 6th season; 41-19 overall)
Quarterback: Soph. Zane Jacoby
Returning Starters: 13 (6 on offense, 7 on defense)

Last Season: 10-3
Pigskin's Pick: 8-1
