William Woods' Brush named AMC Pitcher of the Week

FULTON, MO — William Woods University pitcher Adam Brush was named the American Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Week after leading the Owls to a 5-1 win over Hannibal-LaGrange March 8.
The junior threw a complete game, one run outing, only allowing six hits and striking out four along the way. He moved to 3-1 on the season with a 1.90 ERA in 23 innings pitched.
The Owls game against Missouri S&T is cancelled on Wednesday, but the team will be back in action Saturday in their home opener, 12 p.m., against Harris-Stowe State.
