UPDATE: Woman arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting juvenile
HALLSVILLE - A Hallsville woman was sentenced to four years in prison for statutory sodomy with a teenager.
Amanda Jones, 26, turned herself in on June 13, 2017 after she was charged with sex crimes involving a juvenile male.
Jones pleaded guilty on June 18, 2018 according to online court records from the Boone County Sheriff Department.
Jones has been charged with statutory rape and statutory sodomy involving a person younger than 14 years of age. The incident happened at Jones' home in Hallsville in April 2017.
