Woman Found Dead in North Columbia

COLUMBIA - Police are investigating the death of a woman found Thursday afternoon in north Columbia near Interstate 70 and Range Line Street.

Officers were dispatched to 1207 Larch Court, where they found the 59-year-old woman dead outside. The cause of death is not yet known, and police have not said if the death is a result of foul play. The woman's name has not yet been released.
