Workplace Deaths Drop 25 Percent in Missouri
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Fewer people are dying on the job in Missouri. The Department of Labor announced Thursday that there were 107 fatal work injuries in 2010 in Missouri, down 25 percent from 2009.
Sixty of the victims died after being struck by vehicles. And all but seven of the victims were men.
