Worlds of Fun Coasts into Summer
"It has an inverted design, which means the track is actually above your head," Guevel explained. "So, as we go, we're going to have an unobscured view of the ground below you. We really pride ourselves on having fun for the entire family. It's hard to find a place where everyone can enjoy themselves together. We have six big roller coasters."
The park's most popular coaster since 1997, The Mamba, drops 205 feet at 75 miles per hour. Other favorites include the Boomerang, Spinning Dragon and Timber Wolf.
Worlds of Fun has cut ticket prices for children and senior citizens this year. The park also has new overnight accommodations, including recreational vehicle hookups.
