WWU Adds Truman State Transfer Sarah Krispin
FULTON, MO -- Head women's soccer coach Randy Hall announced on Thursday that Sarah Krispin has decided to join the Owls and complete her education at William Woods University. The St. Peters, Missouri native comes to WWU after two years at Truman State University.
Krispin will join the Owls as a sophomore, as she redshirted in her first season for the Bulldogs. She made three appearances for Truman State in the midfield, earning Academic All-MIAA honors in 2011. As a prep, she was a three-year letterwinner for Fort Zumwalt West High School.
As a senior, she anchored a defense that allowed just 15 goals in 25 games en route to a second consecutive Gateway South Conference title. She was named first team All-Gateway South Conference as a senior as well and was selected to the 27th annual Missouri Athletic Club North/South Senior All-Star game. She was also a two-time recipient (2009, 2011) of the GAC Sportsmanship Award.
The daughter of Kurt and Sue Krispin, she intends to major in Elementary Education at William Woods.
