Youth Conference to Discuss Problems Facing Teens
JEFFERSON CITY - More than 350 youth from across the state will gather at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City on Wednesday.
The eighth annual Speak Hard Youth Conference will talk about the current drug trends and problems facing today's youth.
It will focus on alcohol, tobacco and marijuana: the three leading drugs of choice for Missouri's youth.
The event will include a proclamation signing which marks April as Alcohol Awareness Month in Missouri.
The event is hosted by Missouri's Youth/Adult Alliance and Act Missouri.
