First Alert Forecast
Another round of thunderstorms is possible for this afternoon/evening across mid-Missouri. Storm strength will be dependent on how well the atmosphere can recover from midday storms. Skies are expected to clear to help this process, and help increase chances for this afternoon. Large hail & damaging winds will be the main concern with any storms that become strong to severe.
A few spot showers are also possible on Friday ahead of a passing cold front, but most look dry under partly sunny skies. The biggest difference between Thursday and Friday will be the absence of high humidity on Friday. Temps will still reach the lower to middle 90s Friday afternoon before slightly cooler air spills in Friday night.
Conditions will likely be mostly sunny and back to seasonal conditions for the weekend with highs in the upper 80s near 90 and lower humidity.
