First Alert Forecast
Temperatures tonight will only drop into the middle 10s with wind chills in the single digits.
A much warmer and sunny forecast is expected over the next several days with temps cracking into the 40s on Thursday and Friday. Lots of snow-melt is expected and will leave roadways wet during the day. These wet roadways will re-freeze due overnight temps falling below freezing and patchy black ice will be possible through Friday morning.
Winds will become breezier over the weekend in advance of a storm system. Temperatures will jump into the 50s under cloudy skies Saturday and Sunday with a chance for rain by Sunday afternoon, possibly even a few rumbles of thunder.
Some light snow may be possible on the back side of this system as it exits on Monday, but is not expected to accumulate due to warmer ground temps due to the mild weekend. Temperatures into next week will be cooler, but near normal highs/lows in the 30s/40s.
