Skies will gradually become mostly sunny by midday Monday, allowing for destabilization of the atmosphere by early/mid afternoon.  Showers and t-storms will then return to Mid-Missouri by mid/late afternoon with some storms becoming severe quickly.  At this point, the main severe threats look to inlcude damaging winds, large hail and a few isolated tornadoes. These threats are greatest in the southern portion of Mid-MO, including Morgan, Miller, Maries and Camden counties. Expect highs to warm back into the lower/middle 80s this afternoon and then drop into the 70s throughout the late afternoon/evening.

Showers and an occasional t-storm will continue overnight with the severe threat diminishing just before midnight. Otherwise, it'll be partly cloudy with lows in the middle and upper 60s.

Showers and a few isolated t-storms will continue for the first part of Tuesday, otherwise, mostly sunny and quiet weather will return for tomorrow afternoon. Highs will warm back into the upper 70s and low 80s.  Once we get past Tuesday, the weather quiets down and sunshine and dry weather will continue for the rest of the workweek. Temperatures will hang out in the middle/upper 70s through Friday.
