Live Doppler 8 First Alert Forecast
Morning clouds will give way to afternoon sunshine. Most of the area will remain dry today, however, pop-up showers will be possible for areas east of US 63. Otherwise, sunny and pleasant this afternoon with highs in the upper 70s.
Overnight, it'll become mostly clear with temperatures dropping back into the lower and middle 60s.
Saturday and Sunday look great with a mostly sunny sky and temperatures warming back into the middle 80s. Late Sunday and Monday, a strong, slow-moving storm system will approach the area and that will create an opportunity for showers and t-storms. This system looks to bring about the possibility of severe weather to the area beginning on Monday. We'll watch this system over the weekend and will bring you more details as we get closer to Monday.
