Tuesday will likely be the warmest day of the week with highs in the lower to middle 80s. Patchy fog is possible in the morning, otherwise expect mostly cloudy skies with a few isolated showers and thunderstorms possible throughout the day. The bulk of the rain activity will hold off until after 6-7pm as a cold front moves through central Missouri. This front will help kick off scattered showers and thunderstorms Tuesday evening through Tuesday night. Temps will settle into the 40s/50s for overnight lows by Wednesday morning.
Skies will be a mix of sun and clouds as cooler weather settles in for Wednesday. Highs are only expected to reach the upper 60s with lows in the middle to upper 40s.
Sunshine becomes abundant for Thursday and Friday with highs returning to the lower and middle 70s.
Temperatures are trending warmer as we head into the weekend with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s.
Rain chances will increase early next week as we head into October.
