First Alert Forecast
It is going to be a roller coaster ride of temperatures in the week ahead for mid-Missouri. Cloud cover will slowly clear throughout the overnight hours and temperatures will drop into the lower 40s. Patchy fog is possible in the early morning, but that will burn off quickly and temperatures will warm into the upper 60s with plenty of sunshine.
A cold front will move through the region late Monday and will bring much cooler weather for Tuesday with highs reaching the lower 50s. A few extra clouds are expected throughout Tuesday, but rainfall is not expected at this time.
These cool temperatures won’t last for long as a warming trend will begin with highs returning to the lower 60s Wednesday and the low 70s by Thursday.
A much stronger cold front will bring us chilly weather Friday along with the potential for a few spotty showers. Temperatures are expected to be even cooler going into the weekend with morning temperatures in the mid 30s and highs in the upper 40s.
