Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible this evening as upper-level winds increase and provide a suitable environment for sustained rainfall. Overnight temps will hold in the 50s.
Some rain showers may linger into Tuesday morning. Skies will be mostly cloudy, becoming mostly sunny by the afternoon as high pressure builds in. This will be a trend for the middle of the week where skies are clear with very warm air over the Midwest. Temps will be in the low to mid 70s.
A big cool-down is expected by Friday where a strong cold front could bring a chance for rain. Temps will fall out from the 70s and cool into the 40s for the upcoming weekend.
