First Alert Forecast
Winds will calm as the clouds start to roll in throughout tonight. By sunrise, some areas could be seeing some snow flakes flying. Those flakes will change over to rain drops by the afternoon as we hit our high of 46 degrees. Most of the shower activity should be concentrated along I-44 and the southern edge of the viewing area.
The first few days of the new work week could be wet. Several chances of afternoon and overnight showers and thunderstorms are possible between Monday and Wednesday. Temperatures will actually increase each day and finally topping out in the upper 60s by Tuesday.
Once the rain passes, we'll be much cooler with a high close to 50 on Wednesday. The sunshine should return for the rest of the week and into the weekend as highs warm into the lower 60s for next Saturday and Sunday.
